SAKS FIFTH AVENUE FW12 FASHION SHOW!

Firstly, sorry for the lack of updates recently, I am pretty much always writing an essay and trying to manage my A-levels, SAT, e-mails and many other things in one go, as well as attempting to maintain a social life and getting some sleep, and as a result of this, getting very less time or in fact energy to blog. However, I am still committed and am going to properly organise my schedule to re-start blogging daily this week soon.
On a brighter note, here is the outfit I wore to the SAKS FIFTH AVENUE FW12 fashion show. It is extremely girly, and that is why I just adore this dress, I picked up from Lipsy. Well..to be very honest; I just adore this dress I ‘borrowed’ from my sister’s closet. I don’t think she minds… What do you think? I also got my hair curled for the event, which was partly the reason I arrived litterally five seconds before the show started – at least I was fashionably late! 
Unfortunately, I didn’t really get any good shots of the back this dress, although it was absolutely stunning with loads of sequins!

I am super excited and fully organized for it and have my wish list mentally remembered as well as printed! I just cannot wait until I have those glamorous accessories in my hands! Following my previous post, I thought it would be good idea to give you all a little description of who really is Anna Dello Russo? In my world, Anna is definitely the lady gaga of the fashion industry and the three words that come to my mind immediately when I think of her is - fun, playful, and glamour! What about you?
Helmut Newton give her the perefect label as a “fashion maniac”, which she certainly deserves after 18 years at Conde Nast Italia as Fashion Editor at Vogue, then Editor of L’Uomo Vogue and now Editer at Large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan! Anna definitely lives up to his expectations as you will see below. I was also lucky enough to meet her twice already and she just had an amazing personality - she is so lively despite her hectic schedule! I think she truly brings the fun into fashion and her energy is very contagious! Anna is also an avid collector of fashion and jewellery and describes herself as a passionate fashionista, and is famously know to own over 4000 pair of shoes (see the video below)…
With Anna Dello Russo having such intense knowledge of fashion, I am sure you can see why I am so super super super excited for her extravagant accessories collaboration with the very fabulous H&M to launch on October 4th! Iconic Store Launch at Dubai Mall!

As I said on my last post, I attended the launch of Iconic at Dubai Mall! It definitely was a very lively and interesting store opening, I just loved the bright atmosphere! There was a Violet Lips application station and eyelash applications too! Of course there was also the yummiest food, I just loved the tarts! *Yum*
What’s more, is that there were also real life mannequins, how cool is that?
Moreover, my friend; Jasleen, also tried on one of their dresses. How gorgeous is the dress?
